I am not a teacher; I am an awakener!

I have taught in the education field since 1999. I am very fortunate to have had the privilege of working with a multitude of learners in a variety of environments. Early in my career I worked with adults that were mentally and physically challenged. A Little Bit About Me...

I received a technology degree in 1975. Several years later I returned to college to persue a Physics/Mechanical Engineering Degree from SUNY New Paltz and RPI. I was an "A" student in Physics and enjoyed tutoring many classmates. I was a guest lecturer several times at RPI. Due to work and family commitments I did not complete the degree. My wife and I homeschooled our children through the primary grades. I taught sciences. While an Employee at IBM, I wrote and taight technical courses. A Little Bit About Me...

After graduating college I taught elementary K-8th grade in NYC. I taught for one year and decided to live Paris, France teaching English. I lived in Paris, France for 1.5 years then moved to Rome, Italy, again teaching English. My experiences were wonderful as I met people who really enjoyed learning English and needed it for work. After 6 months I returned to the states and taught at a Junior High School on the Lower eastside of NYC. I left teaching after 10 years to market computers.
