For math tutoring, the best results come from working through problems step-by-step. I have been teaching at the college level for 6 years, and I have 2 years of earlier experience at the middle school level as well. My BS in Electrical Engineering enables me to tutor effectively in math and science, and my PhD in Philosophy qualifies me for Science, History, and some writing help (I have published in peer-reviewed journals). I volunteer at City Rescue Mission. I have tutored children with their homework for more then 6 months. I continue to work at Rose State College as a math tutor in subjects up to College Algebra. I have earned a bachelor degree from UCO in forensic science which required knowledge of Calculus. I like to initially view the student’s way of working out the problems.
