15 years experience as a commercial graphic designer

I am a commercial graphic designer with 15 years of experience coupled with AS, BA and Master degrees. My work experience includes being a pre-press designer involved in all aspects of spot color printing, senior graphic designer in a marketing department of 4 designers completing a vast array of advertising collateral, extensive design and production of banners and signage, and offset and web press as well as large-scale installations. Additional work knowledge encompasses website design and email blasts.
A number of factors come into play when considering what good teaching is. These factors include a mastery of subject matter allowing a teacher to lead students systematically through content to their own level of mastery. As an college graduate, I was passionate about helping others achieve and improving the world. I earned my BA in Interior Design with a minor in Architectural Drafting. Later, I enrolled in a MBA program but due to the economy, I lost my job which had an substantial effect on my educational quest. I have gained a broad range of math skills and writing skills throughout college, which has helped me tutor bilingual children over the past three years.
I have a deep understanding and zeal for helping people progress. I, too, came from underachieving communities but learned how to achieve because of teachers who had my best interest at stake.
