Chinese is one of my top subjects! I have studied Chinese for 7 years. I attended the Defense Language Institute's intensive Mandarin Chinese course and maintained a 4.0 GPA. I will be taking the HSK in the fall.

I studied Mandarin Chinese beginning in high school, going on through college, and most recently attended the Defense Language Institute where I maintained a 4.0 GPA in their intensive Mandarin course. Throughout all my years learning Chinese I was also a tutor to fellow students and students in the lower level courses. Chinese is my passion and I absolutely love learning and teaching it! I have also been an ASVAB tutor in the past. I myself got a 97 on my ASVAB and can certainly help you achieve the score you need. In the past year I have begun tutoring ESOL. I am working on my first certification and will be starting a second certification program in the fall. In addition to academic tutoring I have also been a swim instructor for many years. Chinese is one of my top subjects!

I have taught swim lessons for many years now and absolutely love working with children of all ages. I prefer one on one lessons to achieve the best experience for both student and tutor.
My Chinese language learning started in high school, continuing for 3 years. I attended Northeastern University for one year, continuing studying Chinese, while majoring in Linguistics. After a year hiatus, I joined the Navy and attended the Defense Language Institute achieving a 4.0 GPA in Mandarin Chinese. I have since continued my studies and am currently awaiting the next HSK exam date in fall 2013. I tutored middle school students in Chinese during high school and was a peer tutor at DLI.
