I have obtained my Bachelors in human Services and completed the teaching certification program at Lonestar College. I have passed my content exams in special education ec-12 and the generalist 4-8. I will take my social studies 4-8 content next month. I have taught adults with special needs for two years. My teaching style is one that I obtained from two of my favorite college teachers whom I wished all others would duplicate themselves after. When I teach, I introduce myself and let others introduce themselves. I project an image of someone who is willing and able to assist and teach...someone who really does care (of which I have been told many times by former students). I let students know that if they have a question about anything, to please ask me. I am a detailed person and so I like to give detailed steps in achieving a desired outcome.
