I love to see a person understand something they have been trying so hard to understand. As an educator, I believe that I must be willing to step outside the norm to meet the diverse needs of students, in order to effectively reach them. This implies that I try a variety of approaches. Good teaching involves starting at the child’s level. Teaching that is too confusing, or not challenging enough, will only be a disservice. Simply getting to know the students prior to teaching is a start.
