I went to college after high school and received a Bachelor’s Degree with focus in Teaching from Eastern Michigan University. I am not a certified teacher but I do have experience with teaching. I also worked as a trainer over the phone and online for using computer software with McKesson Pharmacy Systems in Michigan. I decided to go back to college and recently graduated from Trident Technical College in South Carolina, with an Associate’s Degree in Applied Science with focus in Accounting. I graduated Magna Cum Laude with a 3.80 GPA. I am a member of Phi Theta Kappa National Honor Society and an alumni member. I served as Treasurer for two terms in Phi Theta Kappa. When I was in my first year of college, I took a personality profile that was intended to tell me what career choices would suit me the best. Each time I took the profile, the results stated that I was best suited to be a Teacher. The secondary career choice was business. I entered college so that I could be a financial professional, and was rather surprised by the results of the profile that I thought would say "financial" as my career choice. I decided to teach driver's education at a local Christian school for two years, and found that my students were actually learning valuable lessons from my experiences, and were retaining what I taught them. As a Canisius College graduate, I was very motivated to practice different teaching approaches. I doubled majored in Business and Accounting at Thiel College, which has given me a wide spectrum of knowledge of the business world.
