My comments on tutoring Political Science : I have a Political Science minor in Secondary Education and like politics.

A Little Bit About Me...

When working with an individual student, my teaching style is to focus upon the student and create an individualized plan for how the student learns. I first look to see what kind of learner the student is, whether he/she is a visual, auditory, kinesthetic, or any combination of these learning styles. I am then able to formulate an approach for genuine learning. The next step is to ascertain what the student difficulties are in the subject matter and where the core of the difficulties may lie. With this teaching style, I am able to the student with what could be the core of academic difficulties by teaching to his/her strongest learning style.

I have earned a degree in History from the University of Michigan and I have earned my teaching certificate and Master's degree from Wayne State University. I have taught high school for seven years and have taught numerous Science, Math and Social Studies courses. I have taught writing classes as well.
