A Little Bit About Me...

As an engineering graduate from Georgia Tech, I have a high level of skill in mathematics, from algebra to calculus and differential equations, and in sciences, especially physics. Also, I began my college career at the University of Alabama, where I was in the honors program. There I had to write numerous papers in the subjects of literature and history, while at Georgia Tech I became proficient in writing technical reports. Also, I have performed duties as a lifeguard and Special Olympics assistant coach, while working for Tuscaloosa County Parks and Recreation. With the experience I have gained in my education and work, I feel confident that I could successfully tutor students. I was in the Teacher Apprenticeship program from 2003-2004 at my high school, where I taught and tutored two classes of 8th grade students for my mentor teacher. In college, I proofread many papers for friends and did extensive legal research and writing, which continuously improved my writing ability. I vastly enjoy writing papers and performing research for academic purposes, especially on issues relating to international political affairs.
My teaching style is hands-on.
