I have been teaching at the Community College. I have students that range in age from 17 years old to 55 years old. I am enjoying teaching very much and would like to add to the teaching I do. A Little Bit About Me...

Most recently I have been selected to conduct clases in math for students wanting to get their GED. I have worked in the public school sytem as an aide for special needs children in the middle school. At the middle schoool I was asked to do tutoring for students in math. I have taught business practices for a large financial services company. I taught computer topics at a community college. I have also taught wood carving to students from age 12 to 98. Lastly I have taught Sunday School for the last 7 years to middle school students.
I try to find an area of interest in the student and then show how learning the material we are discussing relates to that interest. It is important that they understand that learning is closely tied to their happiness in life. I find analogies to be my favorite style in making points to be learned.
