I prefer to work with small groups of students or individuals as it is easier to meet each student's needs. I am very concise and methodical, but am also sensitive enough to pace myself according to the student's needs. Of course, experience is the best teacher, so I usually review the points that the student has questions on, provide an example of the principles in action, and then help the student work through some problems until he or she understands satisfactorily. As such, I have found that I am very good at teaching math and math-based science as well as languages.
While studying Physics at Iowa State University, I first discovered my love for teaching and tutoring and have been doing it almost continuously since then.
