My comments on tutoring Jazz Dancing : two years training, one year of competitive jazz dancing.

I have tutored many young students throughout my life, and have been tutored myself. I do find it easier to work with younger children; however, I am capable of assisting those of high school or college age students who are struggling. I have helped young children learn how to read, write, count, and tell time on an analog clock. Though I do not have strictly professional tutoring experience (I have never been paid for my services) I know how to identify student's learning style(s) and work with them a way that they will benefit from. I believe that children and adult education is extremely important, and I can also assist those of any age who would like to learn to read and write.

Many times educators falter because they have been teaching so long that they forget a student’s mindset is different. A Little Bit About Me...

I have worked at the Santa Ana School District for eight years. I have supervised our tutoring department and also tutored students during those eight years. Prior to working at Santa Ana School District, I volunteered and tutored students in Algebra. I am currently enrolled in college to complete my Bachelor's degree.
