I really pride myself in personalizing my tutoring. I try to never have more than 6-7 students at a time so that I can provide the best possible personalization of teaching to each student. Additionally, being at a similar age to many of my students helps me relate to them a lot better than some older tutors may be able to; I have more recent experience with taking the same courses/tests as them or applying to colleges like them, and this helps a lot in my tutoring personalization.
In terms of my teaching style, I love being able to connect with students beyond the structured environment of most classrooms and tutoring/prep academies. I try to provide my students with just enough structure so that they know how to study, how to test, etc., but enough autonomy so that they can learn how to succeed on their own.
