Children loves my style of tutoring! It is FUN!

I have work as a para educator and a volunter in a special education classroom setting as well as a special education church ministry. I have over ten years experince in the Early Childhood Development area. I have tutor for over three years for company's as well as for myself.I have an A.A. in Liberal Arts, A.S. in Early Childhood Development, B.S. in Business Mangagement, Special Education Creadential (Mild/Mod), and a Master's Degree in Special Education.
My teaching style is "thinking outside of the box", where I try in multiple ways to teach a student until they have an understanding. A Little Bit About Me...

I am a 16 year old high school student taking my third year of Spanish, Psychology/Sociology, English, U.S History, Chemistry, and Math Reasoning. School wasn't one of my favorite places to go especially when I wasn't doing so hot in some of my classes. But then I found fun and easy ways to study. It turned out that I actually enjoyed going to school afterwards and making it a goal to get good grades. That is my goal with potential students. I want them to enjoy studying for school. Yes it may be a lot of work but the student can make it easier by using flashcards or writing down the problem until it sticks into their, whatever helps them. I want to help them to see how easy school can actually be for them. At first studying may be frustrating but the more the student and I practice, the more fun and less stressful the subject will become.

My teaching style is one where I combine patience, efficiency, technology, variety as well as traditional methods. I believe that you need to keep learning fun and if you mix up different methods then it keeps the aspect of learning from getting boring. If a student gets bored and their mind begins to wander, they will have a much harder time retaining the information you are working so hard to teach. A great example of this would be for teaching children math. The internet has some great resources in helping students to practice their math skills by playing games.
