A Little Bit About Me...

I've worked with many high schoolers and even college students taking French. I've helped them build vocabulary and exercise speaking with a native French speaker. I've helped them mimic the sounds that I'm making and give them tactics and memorizing skills to remembering things that they're having a tough time with. In Social Studies I create rhymes to remember locations for Geography. I put the history lessons into a literal short story and give them tools to remember cetain events. I taught high school social studies for 26 years at Tates Creek High School, primarily as a psychology teacher. A Little Bit About Me...

I don't think I have really developed a "unique style" by only teaching a year or so. I am a very patient person and I really like to see the "sparkle" in a students eye, when they truly understand something for the 1st time.
