Depending on the needs and skills of the students, I will adjust my teaching style. Hence, it can range from being very structured to the loose conversational interaction where I intersperse grammar as needed throughout the instruction. Also, I apply visual and oral methodology with highly interactive elements in all of my lessons, so that the students get exposed to as much real-life situations as possible in grappling with the language. The target language takes center stage from almost the very beginning. During the first few sessions, if students begin from scratch, it will be unavoidable to use English. A Little Bit About Me...

Although I have been self employed for the last 6 years, I went back to school last year to add Science and Math for middle school to my certification. I passed the Praxis for both of those subjects spring of 2010. I was not able to get a full time teaching position this year. I went back to working for myself but would love to tutor. I have tutored for 3 years while I worked for Tryon Elementary school. I had great success with the students I worked with, in particular concerning math.
