Teaching is truly a passion for me. I love working with students of all ages. I believe that all students have it in them to succeed academically. I also believe that mastery of basic skills are essential to success, so while working on current studies, I also like to go back and fill in the gaps of knowledge that may be hindering a students progress.

A Little Bit About Me...

Having taught high school in both affluent and underprivileged areas I strive to make sure that every student has a positive learning experience. My degree is a BS in Communication/Business with a minor in education. Language has always been my first love and I continue to take classes related to this field. The past few years I have worked in sales but I continue to tutor.
My philosophy has always been, "make it interesting and they will learn." However, what is interesting to you and I may not be interesting to the next person. Therefore, I listen to the child and figure out their learning style and interests. Only then can I properly teach and know they understand the subject matter. It is always exciting to see a Childs face when something clicks and they have that, "I understand what she is talking about moment."
