Over the past three years, I have tutored several students in mathematics, biology, and biochemistry at the Academic Support Unit of the Multicultural Life Center at the University of Tennessee Knoxville. I guided their development of individual note-taking strategies, study habits, and problem solving skills. I chose to tutor mathematics and biology in order to enhance my interpersonal, people management and critical thinking skills. A Little Bit About Me...

Hello, I graduated with a PhD. in analytical chemistry from the Department of Chemistry, University of Massachusetts in Amherst. My research work during my PhD career involved synthesis, purification, analysis and utilization of proteins and PEGylated proteins in bioanalytical experiments. These experimental studies resulted in several publications in scientific journals. In addition, I have considerable experience in training undergraduate chemistry students. Recently, I had the opportunity to tutor at Westfield State College as a visiting lecturer, where I thought a second year organic chemistry class together with a laboratory session associated with the class.
