I'm going into my second year of teaching second grade at an elementary school in CT. I have my masters in Elementary Ed, with a bachelors degree in psychology. I have student taught in 3rd grade for 3 months as well as interning for a year , substituting and working with all grade levels K-5. I have lots of experience working with students in all subject areas.

My comments on tutoring Homework Help : I've been helping students with their homework since 1997. My experience is mainly with K-6 in all subjects.

A student cannot learn unless he is comfortable and confident. My first priority before teaching is to make sure the student is relaxed and believes he can accomplish the goal. I also like to get to know my student to know what kind of learner he is and what he likes. My teaching style is "delight directed" whenever possible.
In 2001, I received my certification in Elementary Education from CCSU. I then substitute taught for the town of West Hartford for 2 years while I got married and had my son.
