I have taught and tutored since I was sixteen. I currently teach for USC, a few online universities, Syl. Learning Center, and am a Professional Writing Tutor. I teach all grades and university levels, but my specialties are AP Courses and university courses. I have taught everything from 4 yr olds phonics to College level writing and literature to basic maths and sciences to Calculus and Trig.

I enjoy teaching very much. I think a strength trying to use a student's active content or prior knowledge to connect to material. My attempts are always to make the student feel empowered by the education process. If you can connect to way what they are into, either cartoons, hip-hop, popular culture, with conservative humor, then sometimes you can gain their understanding much quicker. As a recent CofC graduate attaining my Bachelors of Science degree in Biology, I have a vast knowledge of Biology and Chemistry courses. I also attained minors in Chemistry and Psychology. In high school I completed Advanced Placement (AP) courses in Biology, English, and Calculus and placed out of 21 college credit hours. With this experience, I gained knowledge about the arrangment and expectations of these classes and examinations. During High School, I tutored Middle School aged children in all subjects in an after-school program. Currently, I work as a Patient Care Technician at the MUSC's Children's Hospital.
