IN NEED OF A JOB

I have obtained my GED and have always had straight As in high school. I'm also familiar with construction and building skills. I am a visual learner and will do my best to make the teaching fun. I have also obtained 13 college credits from Kalamazoo valley central college. The 13 credits that I have obtained are in computer skills. The computer skills that I have obtained are those for knowing and understanding how to use Microsoft word and all other programs associated with it.
I like to have a fun open minded discussion. I don't like boring so I will do my best to spice it up.

A Little Bit About Me...

As a graduate of a writing and publishing Masters program at DePaul, I learned and practiced the art of writing in many genres including Non-Fiction, Poetry, Travel Writing, and others. I also took a course on Teaching Literature, where I learned about pedagogy and what it takes to teach literature to students. Throughout my undergraduate and graduate years of schooling, I have taken many classes that helped me work on my writing skill and production. I also spent two summers as an Instructor for a writing camp working with campers from ages 9-14; I ran a classroom where I created unique lesson plans each week in order to engage the campers in writing activities while keeping it fun in a summer camp setting.

As an older recent graduate I have experienced how hard it can be to get a bachelor degree and raise a family at the same time. To be committed to both made me who I am today. I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Broadcasting and English. My educational and career background gave me confidence and experience in research, writing,and communicating with people. Also, I have over 8years teaching experience in the school and childcare setting for students ages 4-6. I have taught language arts, science, and math and tutored in reading.
