While attending California State University of San Bernardino and working on my bachelors degree in mathematics I had many opportunities to gain experience. I was a private tutor which included students from elementary, middle, and high school. One child I tutored, who was in middle school, was very bright but had ADHD and it was difficult for him to concentrate. I worked with him for about a year and by the time he was ready for high school, he was at the top of his class and was ready to start Geometry in high school. My teaching style has been to enthuse my students. I find the physical and mathematical models of the world to be fascinating, and try and show how exciting these models are to my listeners.
