Teaching is what I’ve been doing my whole life. In every position I’ve held, there has been an opportunity for me to teach or train. My first job post baccalaureate was Mental Health Worker for Caritas Peace. There, I frequently assisted in the JCPS classroom as a teaching assistant. For the last three years I have worked as a physics and mathematics tutor. Unlike most tutors I have experience teaching on the college level. I worked as an assistant physics professor at Eastern Kentucky University during my last year of undergraduate study. Currently I have a BS in Physics Engineering, which has allowed me to gain a thorough understanding of physics and mathematics. This fall I will start graduate school in which I will be pursuing a MS in physics. I will work as a graduate teaching assistant, in which I will also have to teach college students in physics.
