As an undergraduate, I spent three years in the education program. I clocked over 100 hours in public schools observing, mentoring, or otherwise working with children in elementary, middle, and high school. I also spent two years as a Writing Center Consultant where I worked with college students on their own writing. I was an ESL tutor for one semester where I worked with two small groups of Japanese speaking students on their English skills.
