A Little Bit About Me...

Currently, I hold certifications in both Early Childhood Education and Childhood Education 1-6. This summer (2010), I will also be receiving my Master’s in Reading and obtaining an additional certification in Literacy. I have taught children in kindergarten and first, third, and fifth grades. As a result, I understand where children need to be as readers and writers during the primary years in order to experience success.

While at West Chester University, I had to take Statistics and Probability and that was because I was in the excelled Math program in high school. I had all Math courses up to and including Advanced Algebra. While attending Adirondack Community College, I had to take a Medical Math course that covered many conversions.
I love teaching and working with children and adults. I, myself have achieved a high level of excellence in education by completing two degrees and plan on completing my BS in Nursing. During graduate school I completed two six-month internships working full time in the classroom. I have spent the past three years as a substitute teacher in local schools.
