I have played chess and taken lessons since a young age. My current USCF rating is 1645. I an a student of education and have plenty of experience working with children of all ages. I have worked for many years at a summer camp in Maine, teaching and caring for children ages 7-16. I am a student of education hoping to become a full-time teacher in the future. My chess experience is extensive, having played for many years. In 2003 I won the Texas State Chess Championship, and later went on to play chess for the University of Miami.
