Starting my Junior year of High School and continuing until graduation I was a tutor for Algebra which allowed me to interact with students, assist in teaching, and focus on the students that needed more support to reach their full potential. Continuing into college I often led study groups, helped other classmates to better understand the material, and participated in volunteer work to interact with children. With more than nine years of business experience in both Finance and Operations management and five years as a homemaker raising my four children, I have a very diverse level of experience which I will provide as a tutor. I have developed a complete battery of skills in English, Business, Mathematics and Social Sciences. Currently emerging from several years of medical disability, I have a lot to offer as I begin my return to the workforce. Tutoring is the next step on my journey. More About This Tutor...

I have always had a strong appreciation for education and learning new things. My educational experience was strengthened when I attended Cornell College, which has a strong liberal arts program. I immediately took an interest in the sciences and pursued a Bachelor's degree in Biology/Pre-medicine. My education was additionally complimented when I immersed myself in several language, mathematic, English, and humanity courses, which gave me a strong diversity in the liberal arts curriculum. Due to the smaller class sizes at Cornell, most of the exams were given in essay form, which strengthened my writing skills immensely. During the course of the last 11 years after graduating, I have tutored students in English, mathematics, and the sciences.
