Teaching is a vital to any academic career. My goal as a teacher is to effectively communicate the subject matter in an interesting way to the student in order to create an atmosphere conducive to learning. I would use number of methods such as in-class participation, demonstration-Supplemented Lectures, development of internet resources and research papers to clearly convey principles relevant to the chemistry classes I would teach. In addition, through the feed back from students and peers, I will continually strive to improve my teaching abilities. Adjustments in style and resources will constantly be made in order to achieve the objectives set forth earlier.

A Little Bit About Me...

I love teaching because it provides an opportunity for both teacher and student to learn new things. I also believe that by applying appropriate teaching styles, the most difficult subject can be very easy to the students. I believe in getting students involved in their studies by making it fun. A child needs to study but must have fun whilst studying. My objective is to provide good educational approach to ensure that my students are the best in their field of study as well as have as much fun they could possibly have while pursuing their studies.

Regardless of the demographics of the student population in the classroom, I have learned that it is as important to listen as it is to present information. I encourage participation in classromm subjects yet maintain control and functionality of the class so that the lesson is not lost in the discussion. It is rewarding to see the improvment of self esteem and knowledge when people become heard and are understood in a positive environment.
