A Little Bit About Me...

I believe in helping people that need help. So in college I began tutoring and started to do a bunch of community service projects. I have two years in tutoring experience. I tutor subjects such as algebra, pre-cal, biology, microbiology, world religion, psychology and the list continues. I have not had the experience in tutoring chemistry yet, I am currently taking organic chemistry and when I get finish chemistry courses that my college major requires I will begin to be a tutor for the subject. My teaching style I would describe two-fold: First, my military background taught me their three step process; tell them what you are going to tell them, tell them, and then tell them what you told them and my own personal style which is a hybrid of the discovery method and guided question and answer. I have always been a firm believer in that there are no dumb or silly questions. If a child or an adult has a question, there is a reason for that question and it deserves the best answer possible. I believe that everyone learns information at a different pace and that some information is easier to process than other information.
