My teaching style is laid back and comfortable. I like to use flash cards, fun games, and rhyming teachniques. I think children have to like their teacher to do well. Many of my former students have kept in contact with me over the years.. being invited to their graduations, weddings and other parties. I received an honors degree from Fairborn High School and Wright State University. Education has always been very important to me. While attending WSU for fine arts, I was reminded of my passion for teaching and decided to also acquire my art education certification. During my education program, I was placed in Xenia High School. I was also selected by the art education advisor as one of four students to take part in an innovative teaching class where I learned how to use art and music to teach science and math.
