I have had a lot of past experience when it comes to tutoring. I have tutored many people of various ages from children all the way to college students, relatively. I have experience tutoring age 8-12 reading, science, and math for a child with a learning disability. After spending summers being tutored by me, the child I worked with made the honor roll. I also participated in peer tutoring throughout high school. Additionally, I was a Teaching Assistant for Medical Parasitology at John Carroll University, where I prepared materials for class and tutored my peers.

I love children and I love teaching children. I teach using a variety of methods. I have learned that children have different ways of learning. Some children are visual learners so I used plenty of visual aids when teaching these children. Some children are kinetic learners so I made sure that I used manipulatives when teaching these children. I believe that all children have a "best way" to learn.
