I am currently an intervention specialist for students in grades 5-8, specializing in reading content and reading strategies. Next, for nearly 2 years, I was a Head Start disabilities specialist in northwestern Ohio. Most recently, for the last 7 years, I taught junior high/high school history and English at a private school on a ranch for troubled teenage boys in Washington state.
