I am passionate about language and writing and believe that everyone could be an excellent reader and writer if they learn a few basic skills. I have the ability to meet students where they are at in the learning process and communicate the subject matter in a direct way that enables them to understand the root of what I am teaching. I am also gentle and patient, as I have taught preschool Sunday school at my church for the last three years.
I hold a B.A. in English, cum laude, from John Brown University, with a concentration in Composition and Rhetoric and a minor in Business Administration.
