I lecture and provide homework assistance where needed. I provide strategies and practice for standardized tests when desired. I like working with students who want to learn, which is more important than attempting to get a good grade. Learning is forever; grades have a shelf-life of two years at most. All students can learn; too many are not interested in learning. It doesn't matter whether one likes the class or the teacher; learning the material presented is the student's job. That job, just like the jobs their parents hold, requires them to be committed to doing their best. If a student lacks that commitment, no tutor can help. Throughout my educational career, I have been passionate about all aspects of science. I have earned an Associate's degree as well as two Bachelors degrees, BA in Biology and BA in Chemistry.
