My comments on tutoring German : Took two years of high school German and two years of college level German. I can speak, read, and write at an elementary level. (High-school, beginner college level).

I am currently a senior at Indiana Univeristy Kokomo. I will graduate in spring 2013 with a B.A. in Psychology and minors in Leadership Studies as well as International Studies/Relations. My college coursework has a focus on psychology but my degree requires me to have a very liberal education, as such, I have taken classes in english, history, sciences, economics, government, and many others. I am a student leader and have been for the past two years. I am currently Student Body President of IU Kokomo and represent over 3,000 students. Past leadership expereices include being psychology club treadurer and president, orientation leader, and student senator. I have supplemented my college education by working on a behavioral/mental health unit. I have also done research with one of IU Kokomo's psychology professors, and am currently a teaching assistant for another psychology professor.

I have been teaching English Composition at the college (freshman) level for the past three years. Thus, I feel I would be especially helpful as a tutor for high school students who are interested in both understanding what will be expected of them in college English/writing courses and ensuring that their own writing skills meet those standards. I hold a Masters degree in English with a focus in Creative Writing and am currently working on my Master of Fine Arts degree in Poetry at Purdue. I am familiar with the canonical works of English literature taught in most high school and college curricula. I would be equally capable and eager to assist undergrad/grad students.
