I tutored middle school and high school students in math when I was in a high school, specifically algebra I and II, as well as SAT prep. In college, I helped students in calculus, biology, and statistics, as these are the primary focus of my undergraduate degree. I was also a Resident Advisor for 3 years, which lent itself to helping students with coursework as well as college life. Finally, in Michigan, I tutored master's level students in their statistics courses, both individually and in study groups.

A Little Bit About Me...

I began teaching at the University of Florida (where I earned an MA) as a Teaching Assistant for large lecture courses. I did have my own students whom I interacted with in a more personal environment. I taught philosophy there. Before this, I earned my BA in English and Philosophy, so I have substantial experience with not only philosophy but also literature. In working with students over these four years and doing my own research, I have become very familiar with proper grammatical form and what makes writing good. I believe that any child can learn and that we all have various learning styles. We just have to find the style that is best for optimum learning. Some of us are visual learners and some are auditory learners, and many of us learn with a combination of styles. I believe that by working with students to finding their unique and individual learning style a tutor is the most effective.

A Little Bit About Me...

I am a highly skilled math student, with a degree in computer science from Clemson University. I have about 2 years of private tutoring experience in Math where I taught the student from Freshman to Junior year in high school. I really love sharing my ideas with students and help them learn the subject efficiently.
I developed some tricks and techniques on my own which have really helped me in solving problems very fast. I will be happy to share some with the student if he/she is willing to learn.
