I attended Kean University in Union, New Jersey. From this institution I graduated in January 2009 with honors and a Bachelor's Degree in special education. During my time at the university, my studies focused on teaching as well as providing various types of support for students with learning, behavior, and emotional disabilities. Since graduation, I have taught math and language arts to 6th and 8th grade students. I have also spent time working in the field of early childhoos development by running a general education pre-kindergarten classroom.
