A Little Bit About Me...

I am currently teaching mostly guitar and bass. I encourage the students, sometimes acting as their cheerleader as I take each student through a custom talored series of learning about their instrument as well as learning songs that are appropriate for their level and interest.

Afterward, I became an instructor at Richmond Community College, teaching basic reading and math to adults with learning disabilities as well as a course on PC literacy & business training. The civil engineering program that I successfully completed into a 4 year BS degree, was math and science intensive, with about half the courses requiring laboratory work. My highest math course was in differential equations, also I completed physics, chemistry, and electrical course material. I have had 9 years experience as either field engineer or construction superintnedent. Writing reports, conducting training and development seminars was a standard part of either job, whether the subject was construction means and methods, safety concerns or design changes.
