My college experience in the subjects of Economics, Government, Language, Math, Science, and Social Studies was rigorous. After finishing undergraduate courses, I worked for a program that sent college students out to public schools to be Teacher's Aids. We were expected to help any students who were falling behind in a subject. The experience was so rewarding that after graduation, I took a position working with troubled students convicted of sexual assault, teaching them math and science for six months. A Little Bit About Me...

I have been fortunate to teach students with Special Needs and Learning Challenges. In addition, I was able to teach Adult Basic education to inmates at a state prison. Due to the diversity of educational needs, I have been able to teach Math, Social Studies, History, Marine Biology, Horticulture, Biology, English, and Literature. During the past several years I have home-schooled my daughter and a several studentsby referral.
I enjoy seeing the "Light Bulb" come on when a student grasps a concept. I tend to defer to the students learning style and teach to their need and understanding.
