I have a B.S, degree from St. Xavier in Chicago. I have been working in the construction fields for over 15 years and helping my relatives with their school work in my spare time. I found that I like helping children learn more so I am trying to change careers to do that. Having a Biochemistry degree, I am well trained in science classes. I was also required and excelled in math classes up to Calculus 3. Therefore, math and science are my strong points. In May 2010, I graduated from Bradley University earning two bachelor degrees, BS in Mathematics and BS in Economics, and I graduated in the top ten percent of my class, earning Summa Cum Laude. While in college, I had the opportunity to partake in our tutoring program that our university runs. Starting as a sophomore, I had the privilege to tutor students in college algebra, calculus, statistics, high school math, and economics. My teaching style involves demonstrating how to understand a problem or perform a task before I ask the student to do so.
