I passed the ASVAB and served in the Marine Corp from October 2004 to October 2008. I was a motor transport operator. I served two tours in Iraq. I am a leader and believe that I will be a great asset to helping others in their desire to join the military. I'm currently attending Jones County Junior College through online classes. I will be attending Hinds Community College in the spring of 2012. I have a 28 on the ACT including a 33 in reading, 28 in english and math, and 26 in science. I at tented East Rankin Academy in Pelahatchie, MS. I was selected to multiple academic competions such as the ABC testing and Quiz and Science bowl I prefer to figure out how the student learns the best personally, whether through just hearing it or being shown examples and anything and everything in-between. I want to teach students how to not only memorize the material but actually understand the material so they will be able to use that as building blocks forward in their education.
