As a Controller, analyst and consultant of Computerized Accounting systems for small and medium sized businesses, I have 25 years plus, of extensive experience training and teaching both accounting and non-accounting executives how to data entry in 'subsidiary journals' like Accounts Receivable, Payable, Payroll, Fixed Assets and how to reconcile to 'control accounts' in General Ledger. For the past five years I have had the pleasure of teaching at an international school overseas. Due to the size of the school, I taught various levels of math at the secondary level including 7th grade math, Algebra, Geometry, Pre-Calculus/Trigonometry, and AP Calculus. Continually teaching such a wide variety has enabled me to better understand the flow of the mathematical learning process. When I was a kid I used to ask questions about things. My questions were usually of the natural sciences bent. I was eight. As an adult, knowing I was going to have a daughter, I discovered that I needed to be respected in the world for my knowledge so I could have a career that could support my daughter. I became a great student. After a while I found that it wasn’t just chemistry that I loved. It was TEACHING chemistry that I loved. It was sharing the knowledge and sharing the discovery. I am a recent graduate with straight A’s from Lewis-Clark State College with a major in Biology. I took many classes in math to receive my degree. I tutored students at the University of Montana enrolled in biology and anatomy courses. The students I tutored had significantly better test scores than their previous ones. At LCSC, I assisted one of my professors for her online chemistry courses. I made keys and graded their homework and added notes to help them for future assignments. I was also enrolled in human dissection. A large portion of the course was teaching the human anatomy students certain body parts.
