Hi, I'm Kobi.I have 7 full years of educating behind me.I was teaching classes and groups during my B.A studies for annual projects and for a private - tutoring company like yours. Since 2008 I own "highway" a private tutoring company in Israel- now ran by a partner. I have tutored mostly Maths and English but I'm capable of teaching any other subjects for low graders.Of course, Hebrew can always come into consideration- it's my home language.
I think that my teaching experience speaks for itself.. I'm capable of working with all ages.. preferring teenagers because I like bigger challenges. I'm very laid back and patient when it comes to teaching. I can empathize with students who have difficulty in a subject because at one point in my educational career I had trouble and needed help. I have over two and a half years of teaching experience at the high school level. After earning my Masters Degree in Secondary Education from Le Moyne College in 2006 I obtained my first teaching job with the Syracuse City School District. I taught various sciences to high school students in an alternative program. In the summer of 2008 I taught chemistry to summer school students for Boces. In 2009 I taught various sciences to students at Hillside Children’s Center in Auburn, NY. I have also worked as a tutor for Huntington Learning Center and provided private and homebound tutoring services as well. Currently, I work as a substitute teacher for Phoenix and East Syracuse school districts. I also tutor privately.
