I have had over 3 years of tutoring students in Algebra as well as science. I am a member of Phi Theta Kappa and Sigma Kappa Delta where I graduated with honors from LSCS. A Little Bit About Me...

Although I feel lecture, guided instruction and practice are a very important part of teaching mathemeatics, it is usually not enough as abstract ideas have difficulting finding relavence with most students. I rely heavily on my past experiences in my engineering career to draw real world examples to bridge this relevence gap. Additionally, I make extensive use of the TI84 graphing calculator to suppliment all lessons possible for the visually and kinestetic learner. My tutoring began in high school, when I tutored younger students in any subject, from Math to English. I learned to love tutoring. I enjoy helping people to realize their full potential. The most rewarding part of tutoring, in my opinion, is the look on the child's face when something finally makes sense. I have obtained a BBA from the University of Toledo.
