My teaching style is has proven to work with many students. The most important issue with tutoring is to identify where the student has the most difficulty. There are many ways to present material, such as discussion, visual effects and hands-on. What I have learned is that many people can learn through more than one way of teaching. It is important to go at there pace and reinforce the information they have already learned. I love teaching and it shows in my presentation and my tone of voice. My teaching style is a collage of teaching styles. I am well aware that students retain and use information in numerous ways. Sometimes, I facilitate from the side, allowing the students to take hands on control with the information, at other periods, I might lecture on the topic and then question and discuss issues provided from what was just read. One just has to be acquainted with the learners' style and then the subject, lesson plan, and displaying of information can be customized more suitedly, to the student. Any student can learn, they just have to have the information provided to them in a manner where they can retain it and make it useful.

As a long-term adjunct instructor, I have successfully cultivated an effective set of best teaching practices relative to the English language and Communications. I make every conscious attempt to relate to my students as individuals and to meet their educational needs. Additionally, I exert much effort with students to impress upon them the importance of education in their lives and the fact that learning can be totally fun.
I find it rewarding to teach children and adults the necessary skills that allow them to obtain full English literacy. One of the greatest accomplishments in the course of the educational process is the acquisition of full, quality literacy; it is the foundation. Consequently, I prefer a step-by-step, pragmatic method of teaching English language skills: phonics, words, syllables, consonants, verbs, sentences, punctuation, grammar, etc.
