I am graduating in May 2010 with a undergraduate degree in English Education. I have worked in several school districts as tutor, observer, and student teaching. I have personally worked in the following areas: Speech/Drama, English, and Middle school tutoring. I have worked with students in the 6-12 grades. I have also worked with Southern Nazarene University as a Teacher's Assistant. I have worked close with students and teachers to help students become better communicators, especially in a written aspect. I believe my job is not to force the student to learn. I want to create a passion for learning (even if student does not like the subject). Students have to take responsibility for learning. The tutors job is to help students reach full potential.
