I recently received my Bachelors Degree from the University of Michigan, where I studied English and Spanish. I chose a rigorous course schedule which allowed me to greatly develop my writing, editing, proofreading, and critical thinking skills. During my sophomore year of college, I began to facilitate creative writing workshops with youth and adults. This included editing and correcting for grammar as well as content, and providing useful feedback to my students. I continued with this work throughout college, and even after graduating. In addition, I taught an undergraduate course at the University of Michigan for the Program on Intergroup Relations. I currently hold an associate’s degree from Grand Rapids Community College in applied arts as well as an associate’s degree from Davenport University in accounting. I will also graduate with a bachelor’s degree in accounting on April 25, 2010. I worked for over three years for the Boardwalk Fitness Center where I was the general manager in charge of over 20 employees. I was also responsible for the general accounting duties, payroll, and customer billing. I am also an Eagle scout, where I spent years doing community service and teaching younger scounts.
