A Little Bit About Me...

First, I believe a successful teacher allows the student to emerge in their individual creativity while grooming the student to play a significant role in a team environment. Second, a teacher must allow for mistakes to be made during the learning process as they are often quite instructive. Third, the most important thing about learning is not just in memorizing factual data for an exam, but in understanding how to apply knowledge to everyday situations. Finally, a good teacher knows where to lovingly apply discipline because a good balance of encouragement and discipline results in mutual respect between teacher and student and teaches the student proper boundaries.
