I attended a small town highschool, but excelled above most of my peers there. I was on the Honor Roll, i can honestly never remember getting any grade lover than a high B, but once. And that was in Spanish, which I do not tutor in, haha. I believe my strong point would be English. Not only am I good at it, I ENJOY it. I have always believed that the best way for someone to learn is to put the information into terms that are understandable to them. In the past I have used illustrations, acted out scenes from battles, utilized initialisms, and made up songs to help students learn concepts. The key to being a good teacher is being patient. I believe children learn best in a positive and stress-free environment. A Little Bit About Me...

I graduated from WKU with a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education, and during this time I worked at an elementary school during their after school program helping tutor and supervise the children. After I graduated, I substituted for several school districts in mostly elementary grades, but I also worked in middle & high school. I am currently working half-time as a reading intervention teacher. My strongest subject is math and english.
