I am an engineering professional with over four years of experience. My profession requires me to use several methods of mathematics, such as Calculus, Algebra, Trigonometry, and Differential Equations. These principles are essential towards completing an effective engineering project. I also have experience tutoring and teaching through volunteer work that I have done with programs such as N.G.W. Parenting Program, AWANA, and S.B.C. Summer Camp. I have also tutored children after school in several areas of math, such as Algebra, Geometry, and Trigonmetry.
I have a strong desire to help children. Through teaching, I experience joy in displaying my knowledge and wisdom to them in helping them become better people in life. As a mentor and tutor I have a very hands on style of teaching. I challenge my students with the Upward Bound Program to think outside the norms of their traditional boundaries. I encourage a diverse mind frame and point of view for various subject. Most of all I want my students to see their studies in everyday life and understand how each subject applies on a person level. My teaching style as well is always open and my doors and time is always devoted to those I teach so that their understanding of a subject is not limited to only the work load I present, but questions they present to me as a teacher.

As a graduate of Georgia Southern University, and a tutor and mentor I am excited to continue in the traditions of higher learning. I have my degrees in Project Management and Civil Engineering as well as Business Finance. Throughout the years I have volunteered with Habitat for Humanity and professionally taught for Upward Bound, tutoring high school students.
